The Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a
spiritual brotherhood of monks and selfless workers, dedicated to the service
of humanity, for more than 100 years.
In addition to its various
philanthropic activities, this institution has earned a high esteem in the
Medical field in servicing in the remotest rural areas and also aiming the
hapless lower middle class of the society in the urban metropolis. We have recently
come up with a mega project in the shape of multispecialty 500 bedded Hospital
with up to date modern medical facility near Joka, Kolkata – 700 104.
Bharat Sevashram Sangha, well
known as a philanthropic organization of India, decided to setup a 500 bedded
multidisciplinary general hospital at southern Kolkata considering the local
need on the one side, and making a medical institution of excellence in the
state-of-art technology, on the other. The Sangha envisions making a medical
platform for the medical professionals from Kolkata and different parts of the
country and abroad with temperament for dedicated service to work together for
the poor, needy and distressed people of the lower and middle strata society.
Providing not only medical
treatment but also mental, social and spiritual support to the patient :
1. To ensure extremely reasonable
hospital charges.
2. To engage competent Doctors,
Nurses and Technicians with mindset for dedicated service.
3. To make available up to date
equipment technology for investigation and treatment under one roof.
4. To cater nourishing food and
nutrition to the patients.
5. To maintain the best possible
cleanliness and hygiene.

The main objective of the Sangha
are -
To help the distressed, to nurse
the sick, to feed the hungry and to cloth the naked.
To give necessary relief to the
afflicted people in the time of flood, famine, earthquake and other disastrous
condition of the country. To establish branches in different parts of the
country and to maintain, carry on and assist free educational and medical
institution and other charitable societies to help the spread of education and
to render help to the infirm, the invalid, the afflicted and the suffering
humanity in general. To create an atmosphere favorable to moral and spiritual
growth.
